The newly released iOS 16 update has turned out to be quite a delight for many iPhone users because of its customizable Lock Screen and impressive iMessage editing tools.

However, it also came with some bugs that meddled with users’ experience. Some of the problems faced by them include ghost touch and battery percentage-related issues.

Lately, it seems that the Weather app on iOS 16 is experiencing some issues where the weather predictions are not precise for many.

iOS 16 Weather app showing incorrect temperature

Many iOS 16 users are reporting an issue where the Weather app is not showing correct information about the weather conditions and temperature.

The weather data accuracy is bugged only on devices running iOS 16 as those with iOS 15 still see accurate information.

Affected users have tried deleting and reinstalling the app several times but to no avail.

Weather app crashes when a location is deleted

Apart from the app forecasting incorrect weather conditions, it is also crashing when a location is removed or deleted.

In some cases, users are unable to add new locations because they get deleted when the app is opened again.

Unfortunately, Apple hasn’t acknowledged the issue where the Weather app is showing incorrect temperature on iOS 16. But an affected user alleges that the crashing issue has already been fixed.

There’s also no workaround that can help solve the issue temporarily. So, users will have to wait till the team comes up with a definitive fix.

We’ll keep tabs on the issue and update the article as and when something noteworthy comes up.
