K2-SO by Alan Tudyk At least one new robotic companion is introduced in the future Star Wars series, even though it may not be in the first season of Andor. Exclusive images from EW show the new droid B2EMO, the diminutive salvage helper who co-stars with Diego Luna.

According to Tony Gilroy, the creator of the series, the Andor family should have a devoted companion who has been working with them for a long time. As a result, the planet Ferrix now has the cubical B2, a rusty red ground mech.

Neal Scanlan, the creator of the Star Wars universe, and his renowned creature studio created the droid from the ground up, working out everything from his square shape to that ideal shade of red. Due to B2’s complete practicality and remote control functionality, Luna and other performers were able to share scenes with him and even improvise with him.

As Cassian in the 2016 film Rogue One, Luna, of course, is no stranger to sharing scenes with robotic co-stars. He frequently appears alongside K2-SO. But Tudyk, who performed on-site and was later digitally replaced, was present when he filmed those parts. Here, Luna had the opportunity to perform beside B2 as his ultimate self.
