Petos’ Interviews With Monster Girls manga will come to an end with its 11th volume, slated for a Fall 2022 release. The announcement was made in the series 10th volume, which was released last Thursday.

The series began serialization in2014 and ran in Kodansha’s Young Magazine the 3rd but switched over to Monthly Young Magazine this year.

The manga follows a biology teacher named Tetsuo Takahashi who is interested in studying the various demi-humans who inhabit the world around him. The series focuses on Tetsuo as he gets to know various demi students while chronicling the details of their everyday lives.

An anime adaptation was released during the Winter 2017 season, and was streamed by Crunchyroll as it aired. Funimation then streamed an English dub of the series on their platform shortly after.

The anime ran for 12 episodes with an ONA that was released a few months after it concluded. A-1 Pictures produced the series, with Ryo Ando serving as director and Takao Yoshioka working as the screenwriter. Ando has directed episodes of One Punch Man and 86, while Yoshioka has worked on series like Elfen Lied, Working!!, and most recently Horimiya.

A spin-off manga titled, Can’t Talk With Occult Girls, began serialization in 2019. Like Monster Girls, Occult Girls first ran in Kodansha’s Young Magazine the 3rd and was moved over to Monthly Young Magazine the same month its predecessor did.

The series is written by Kae Hoshimoto and illustrated by Hajime Honda, and has a total of seven collected volumes so far.

Kodansha USA licenses the manga in English, and will be releasing the 10th volume in April 2022. There seem to be no plans to license the Can’t Talk With Occult Girls spin-off as of yet.
