If you like realistic multiplayer tactical shooting games, you must be familiar with Insurgency. Developed by New World Interactive and published by Focus Home Interactive, Insurgency: Sandstorm is the sequel to the original 2014 title.

Released in December of 2018, the game runs on Unreal Engine 4. It is set in a fictional region somewhere in the Middle East and has been praised by both players and critics for its realistic gameplay, level and sound design, graphics, and atmosphere.

However, many have criticized the celebrated title for poor optimization and technical glitches such as voice chat not working and freezing and crashing issues on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.

That said, many Insurgency: Sandstorm players are now reporting that everyone in the party is the same color after the v1.12 update (1,2,3,4,5). It looks like the game is coloring everyone with the color of the host.

Players are confused since they are unable to see their friends while playing. Restarting the game, verifying files, and reinstalling isn’t helping either.

Here are some reports from Insurgency: Sandstorm players complaining about everyone in the party having the same color.

As it turns out, Insurgency Sandstorm developers have commented on the issue and said they are currently working on a fix. However, there is no timeframe of when the problem will be resolved.

We hope they soon find the root cause of the problem and patch it in the coming days. If and when they do, we will be updating this space to let you know so stay tuned to PiunikaWeb.
