Hulu is one of the most popular platforms for watching TV series and movies. The streaming network primarily focuses on on-demand content, including some of the most recent TV shows.

It provides exclusive shows and is accessible from a variety of devices via apps and web browsers, just like many other similar services.

Hulu ‘Not secure’ alert

Well, now it is coming to light that there might be an issue with this streaming service. Multiple Hulu users are reporting that the website is showing a ‘Not secure’ alert (1,2,3,4,5).

Many viewers complain that when accessing the Hulu website, they are constantly receiving a ‘Not Secure’ warning.

This is said to be activated when Hulu users see an advertisement or commercial, and it stays that way even when the program resumes.

The Hulu website still runs with a ‘Not Secure’ warning message despite some users manually typing in the ‘https://’ protocol.

This isn’t the first time Hulu subscribers have encountered this problem. It has popped up on several occasions before (1,2,3). This problem also affects all web browsers and the Hulu desktop app.

Hulu team has acknowledged the issue

Fortunately, Hulu support didn’t take too long to acknowledge this issue and said that they are currently investigating it. However, they did not provide any ETA for the fix.

There is currently no workaround that can assist in resolving this problem. Therefore, Hulu subscribers have no choice but to wait for an official patch.

That being said, we will keep an eye out for any new developments regarding the ‘Not secure’ alert and update this article if anything relevant comes to our attention.
