A lot of people use mobile banking apps across the globe and they come in quite handy at times like these.

Among the many mobile banking apps is HSBC UK Mobile Banking which has over a million users on Android and iOS.

However, Android users have been facing some difficulties while using the HSBC UK Mobile Banking app.

As per multiple reports, users are unable to deposit cheque through the HSBC UK app which cannot read the details on the back of the cheque.

It seems that a lot of Android users are affected because of the said issue which further suggests that a fix is required on a larger scale.

Also, it seems that the cheque deposit issue issue has been around since before the latest HSBC UK Android app update.

The app recently received an update to version 2.38.0 on the iOS and Android platforms but users are facing the said issue even after the latest update.

So, it is unclear why HSBC has been unable to resolve the issue which has been causing inconvenience to users.

The official HSBC UK Twitter handle has said that this is a known issue the relevant team is working on a fix.

This further indicates that affected users might not have to wait for long as a fix might arrive in the near future.

This is, however, still based on our speculation as HSBC UK has not provided any ETA for the said fix.

Hopefully, HSBC UK resolves the said issue and releases a permanent fix for the same in the near future.

That said, we will be back with more details as and when new information becomes available so stay tuned.
