On the most recent edition of the Prime Video series, “The Boys” took aim at Kendall Jenner’s stupid Pepsi ad.

A-Train (Jessie T. Usher) continued his attempt to portray himself as a Black superhero in touch with his roots on Friday’s new hour by taking part in a tone-deaf ad campaign for his Turbo Rush energy drink.

Ashley (Colby Minifie) remarked that “social justice is extremely vital” to Vought after he expressed his dissatisfaction with Blue Hawk, a superhero who has been over-patrolling Black neighborhoods. “My favorite hashtag is #BlackLivesMatter. What’s up with my Instagram? “It’s just blank screens,” she added, before adding that his new style “inspired” her “their new marketing campaign

The new ad was then presented in its entirety.

In it, the supe may be seen leaving a shoot to join a public protest. “This is important,” he informed his handlers before joining the crowd of people holding placards that said “Peace” and “Unity.” A-Train was getting between a protestor and a line of NYPD patrolmen in riot gear while closeups of his energy drink were being taken, before delivering the cops one of his drinks.

As A-Train glanced into the camera and remarked, “The police started partying with the protestors.” “We need to pay attention to one another. Turbo Rush Energy Drink by A-Train.”

The ad is nearly identical to one in which Kendall Jenner took part in 2017.

The model was seen walking out on a shooting to participate in a protest in the original spot (below). She approached a line of cops after snatching a cool can of Pepsi and presented it to one of them. As he took a sip, the crowd exploded in applause, as if that one taste would solve all of the world’s problems.

The ad was torn apart at the time and quickly dropped by the beverage manufacturer, with the copy “Live Bolder, Live Louder, Live for Now.” The commercial was criticized for stealing the Black Lives Matter movement in order to sell a few Coke cans, and critics were outspoken on social media.

“Pepsi was trying to project a message of unity, peace and understanding. Clearly, we missed the mark, and we apologize,” they said in a statement at the time. “We did not intend to make light of any serious issue. We are pulling the content and halting any further rollout. We also apologize for putting Kendall Jenner in this position.”

On an episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” Kendall reacted to the backlash by saying, “I just feel really, really bad. I feel really bad that anyone was ever offended. I feel really bad that this was taken such a wrong way.”

Season 3 of “The Boys” is now available on Prime Video.
