Yesterday, PlayStation’s State of Play centered on Hogwarts Legacy and finally put to bed a number of questions fans had about its gameplay. Indeed, this showcase offered Hogwarts Legacy’s first official gameplay reveal with a lot to unpack, especially due to the fact that it is still scheduled for a release before the year’s end this holiday season.
Instead of multiplayer co-op where friends can roam around Hogwarts together, Hogwarts Legacy instead focuses on NPC companion relationships that appear to branch into their own quest paths. While it would have been a fun feature to duel other players online or engage in other activities with players from different Hogwarts houses, Hogwarts Legacy lets players visit Hogsmeade and roleplay as a witch or wizard in its ambitious open world with many features to satisfy them anyhow.
Hogwarts Legacy is currently scheduled to release in 2022’s holiday season for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
