High School Musical The Musical The Series Will Return For A Fourth Season On Disney

Miss Jenn & Co. will stage a production of High School Musical 3: Senior Year in the forthcoming fourth season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.

But wait, there’s a twist in typical HSM:TM: TS style! The kids discover that the school is being utilized to film the eagerly anticipated High School Musical 4: The Reunion film and that they will all be featured extras when they return for their first day back in Season 4.

At Disney’s D23 Expo on Saturday, series stars Joshua Bassett, Sofia Wylie, Matt Cornett, and Dara Reneé made the announcement.

Which actors from the first three High School Musical movies will show up in Season 4? Only three actors—KayCee Stroh, Lucas Grabeel, and Corbin Bleu—have appeared as guests in the Disney+ series thus far.

The cast’s performance of Frozen: The Musical on Wednesday marks the end of the third season of the play, which saw its members move from East High to Camp Shallow Lake for the summer.
