Although Marvel’s Secret Invasion on Disney+ has yet to make its debut, we now know how Samuel L. Jackson will seem in this new Nick Fury outfit. The revised appearance and attire of Fury from the next series were revealed via a new Funko Pop toy that was just released. We would have to admit that he appears a little more clandestine with this new outfit given that he is sporting his signature leather jacket and beanie. Notably, Fury has swapped out his distinctive eye patch with a more contemporary adhesive bandage marked with an “X.”
The new clothing looks great, but we’re not sure if this will relate to his character. At the very least, it is intended to conceal Fury from any prospective replacement Skrulls.
Secret Invasion will focus on Nick Fury’s partnership with prominent Skrull Talos. They will cooperate to stop the Skrull invasion, an alien race that can change its shape and has infiltrated every aspect of Earthly life. Talos will be played by Ben Mendelsohn once more, and Fury will be played by Samuel L. Jackson once more. Don Cheadle as Rhodey, Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, and Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross are added to the cast.
Kingsley Ben-Adir will play the primary enemy, and Olivia Colman will play one of Fury’s former pals. Additionally added in undisclosed parts are Emilia Clarke, Killian Scott, Christopher McDonald, and Carmen Ejogo. According to rumors, Clarke will play G’iah/Gloria Warner, a Skrull who initially assists in the invasion of Earth. After seeing the atrocities the Skrulls commit during their invasion of Earth, she decides to change her allegiance and support humanity.
As was already said, Secret Invasion won’t make its appearance until the spring of 2023. This allows Marvel to complete everything, including making sure that cameos are kept a secret, in around six months. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is expected to usher in Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Kang is expected to have a major antagonistic role in that film, as we already know, thus it’s probable he will also appear in Secret Invasion. Secret Invasion will be Phase 5’s second release. Before Secret Invasion, Samuel L. Jackson might also make a cameo. We would anticipate that a cameo in either Black Panther 2 or Ant-Man and the Wasp 2 would make sense to hype up Secret Invasion.
