On Monday a suspicious bag was found near a 5-Star hotel in Paschim Vihar, to which Delhi Police respond swiftly to clear all the prevailing suspicions.

Delhi Police received information about a suspicious object found in Paschim Vihar on Monday. The suspicious lock-like item was found in a bag and was reported by the locals to Delhi Police. After this Police reached the spot with the bomb detection team and scanned the whole place.

After a thorough inspection of the object by the authorities, nothing suspicious was found.

“We received information about a suspicious bag in front of a five-star hotel in Paschim Vihar. The object appeared like a WiFi router or digital lock. The Bomb Detection Team is on the spot,” said the Delhi Police in the statement issued earlier.

The object was an ODM OEM GPS Smart Lock Tracking Trailer Padlock Cargo Tracker E-Lock. And according to the authorities, there was nothing suspicious about it.
