Ezra Matthew Miller is an American actor born on September 30, 1992. After making his feature film debut in Afterschool (2008), he went on to star in the dramas We Need to Talk About Kevin (2011) and The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012). (2012).

Ezra Miller was arrested in March at the Margarita Village tiki bar in Hilo, Hawaii, after shouting cuss words, spitting in the face of a patron, and grabbing a microphone from a woman singing karaoke to “Shallow” from A Star Is Born. Miller claimed to have been approached by a Nazi and to have proof.

Miller was arrested for second-degree assault three weeks later, on April 19, 2022, by Leilani Estates Subdivision police in Phoa. According to Midi Libre, they were arrested after being told to leave during a private gathering and throwing a chair, which hit a 26-year-old woman and left a half-inch cut on her forehead. Miller was apprehended 20 minutes after the attack at the intersection of Highway 130 and Kukula Street in Kea’au during a traffic stop. Miller pleaded no contest to the karaoke incident and was fined $500 for disorderly conduct by Judge Kanani Laubach just hours after this second arrest.

On behalf of 18-year-old activist Tokata Iron Eyes, the Standing Rock Sioux tribal court issued a temporary order of protection against Miller in June 2022. Her parents, Chase Iron Eyes and Sara Jumping Eagle requested the court order due to Miller’s alleged use of “violence, intimidation, the threat of violence, fear, paranoia, delusions, and drugs” to exert control over their child.

A mother and her twelve-year-old child were granted a temporary harassment prevention order against Miller in Massachusetts on June 16, 2022, after they claimed Miller threatened the woman’s family and displayed inappropriate behavior toward the child. Miller, who was originally visiting a neighbor, showed up at the family’s house unexpectedly wearing a bulletproof vest and brandishing a gun before “pestering” the child by “uncomfortably” touching the child’s hips, according to the mother and child.

All of this has been a troubling path for Miller, whose critical breakthrough came at the age of 19 with their deeply unsettling performance in the 2011 school-massacre drama We Need to Talk About Kevin.

The actor has offered journalists marijuana mid-interview and spoken in gibberish to reporters at ComicCon while dressed as a sexy Super Mario Bros. character in silk lingerie. Miller recounted a childhood nightmare involving the PATH train, Beethoven, and their mother’s and sisters’ throats being slit open like pigs in 2018, during what was supposed to be a lighthearted junket interview promoting Fantastic Beasts.
