This week, Kenny Pickett and fiancée Amy Paternoster had a playful Instagram interaction as the Steelers rookie quarterback continued to prepare for the upcoming season. Paternoster, who is originally from New Jersey, announced on Wednesday that she has officially moved to Pittsburgh — but that she is still adjusting to her new surroundings. “Officially a resident but still rely on Maps to get around,” Paternoster captioned the photo.

Pickett, who announced his engagement to the Princeton University grad in January, then replied with a cheeky “I’ll show you around,” followed by a red heart emoji. The 24-year-old quarterback grew up in Pittsburgh and attended the University of Pittsburgh before being drafted 20th overall by the Steelers in this year’s NFL Draft.

Pickett, one of the Steelers’ three quarterbacks on the 53-man roster, has impressed throughout the preseason, throwing for 261 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions in three games. He is competing for the starting job with veterans Mason Rudolph and Mitch Trubisky. During his preseason appearances, Pickett has had the support of Paternoster, who has watched the games alongside some of the Steelers’ significant others.
