Harry Potter Wizards Unite players are getting ready to close out the final months of summer with just as much excitement as when it started. The augmented reality game’s anniversary events have passed, but back to school is an exciting time in the world of Harry Potter as well, which makes August pretty busy. The full August event calendar is now live and the first event of the month is already getting started.
The first (and seemingly only) Harry Potter Wizards Unite Adversaries event of August kicks off in just a handful of hours and fans of the mobile game will have through August 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. PT to defeat the enemies that are taking over the map and race through the list of tasks that are available for a limited time. As always, the Adversaries event brings some pretty tempting rewards, which means that working through those limited time tasks is going to be well worth the effort for players who put in the work, but there’s a little extra incentive this time around…
The Wormtail and the Marauders event is offering up some Bonus tasks and rewards in addition to the standard list of challenges. That means even more rewards are up for grabs than usual. Players are likely already aware, but since the Adversaries events are so much shorter than Brilliant Events the list of tasks to complete won’t be quite as long.
August’s Adversaries event is putting a spotlight on Peter Pettigrew, but that isn’t all. The following Foundables will also be boosted on the Map and with Tonic for Trace Detection: Young Peter Pettigrew, Young James Potter, Young Sirius Black, and Young Remus Lupin. This Adversaries event is adding a bunch of DADA books to the rewards cache which has become the norm in the past few months. That means that there is a very strong list of task and completion rewards, so witches and wizards should have plenty of motivation to get into the game early this week and put some time into participating in the short event. The pile of DADA books should almost certainly be enough to motivate the average player to participate.
