The final days of Harry Potter Wizards Unite are quickly approaching as the year comes to an end, but there are still a handful of events for players to get through before calling it quits on the mobile AR experience. The December 2021 calendar of events in the mobile AR game is carrying forward and the first part of the game’s penultimate Brilliant Event is now going live.
The Battle for Secrecy two-part Brilliant Event is running throughout the rest of December and witches and wizards will only be able to experience the first half of the activities during the starting today. The first part kicks off today, Monday, and Harry Potter Wizards Unite fans can start racing around and enjoying the features, bonuses, and challenges any time after 2pm on November 19 to begin unlocking exciting rewards.
This Brilliant Event officially starts on November 15th, 2021 at 2:00 pm Eastern Time and ends on December 21st, 2021 at 2:00 pm Eastern Time. Typically, Brilliant Event bonuses and rewards pay off for many players and that appears to be the case for things this month, as well based on the list of rewards. The Battle for Secrecy Part 1, like many non-Spotlight events in Wizards Unite, features a long list of tasks for players to complete during the week-long first half and a lot of exciting rewards up for grabs for players who make it through the full list.
As usual, the early quests are fairly straightforward and simple this time around and there’s a strong list of incentives, so witches and wizards should definitely take the time to work through the full list before part one wraps up. Things do get a little more challenging with the bonus assignment, so be ready for a grind…

The list of tasks is pretty long, so many players will want to get started early to make sure they can wrap everything up by the afternoon of December 26. That said, there’s a full week to work through all of the challenges. With those tasks in mind, witches and wizards should be equipped with everything they need to know to properly prepare for the event to kick off. It will be interesting to see what the second half of the Brilliant Event has in store for players, so don’t forget to check back for that list of tasks and rewards in the coming weeks.
