New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….
Original story (published on December 20, 2021) follows:
Developed by 343 Industries and published by Xbox Game Studios, Halo Infinite has managed to stay in the spotlight ever since its launch on December 8. The first-person shooter was scheduled to come out in 2020 but was delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
That being said, players recently expressed their anger with the matchmaking server selection due to high ping and other issues as well as several bugs that ruin the overall gameplay experience.
Scorpion Tank handling and gun issues
Now, Halo Infinite players are complaining that the Scorpion Tank handling is really bad with many unable to drive it as they used to in previous Halo titles.
Thankfully, a Reddit user has come to the rescue and shared a workaround for the Halo Infinite Scorpion Tank handling. It looks like toggling on the ‘Left Stick Control’ option in the vehicle control options fixes it to some extent.
Apart from the Scorpion Tank handling issue, players say that the Scorpion Tank Gun can be picked in-game and used as a regular mission. Many say that they completed the game using the tank gun at the highest difficulty (LASO) in a matter of hours.
A Community Director at 343 Industries has commented on the matter and confirmed the fact that it is not an easter egg but a glitch.
However, they did not say if it will be fixed or left that way. Halo Infinite players are suggesting that the developers leave the glitch alone but instead disable achievements for those who use it.
If you want to use the Scorpion Tank gun, watch the video below to know where to pick it up from.
HSC coating not showing
Last but not the least, some Halo Infinite players say that the HSC weapon coating is not showing up after they claimed it from Twitch.
While 343 Industries is yet to acknowledge the issue, a user on the Halo Waypoint forum has found a workaround that seems to be working for some.
As always, we will be keeping an eye out on these issues and update this space as and when required so make sure you stay tuned.
